Hey there, I'm

Croissant Project

My latest project to date, as of the creation of this site. I most certainly did not buy un croissant right after its completion. Aside from the few extra calories, I gained valuable know-how on everything from creating multiple-page websites, to making websites more SEO-friendly. As always, I got to integrate and play around some more with Bootstrap. All through this simple homework assignment on this Austro-French goodness. More, s'il vous plaƮt!

Weather App

What can I say? Coming up with weather puns is a breeze. Weather or not you found that in the least bit entertaining, this project certainly was for me. Building this weather app not only showed the current temperature, but also a 6-day forecast (did I mention it works for any city in the world?!) and was an absolute testament to all the knowledge we'd acquired up until then. My personal highlights? Getting to play around with Javascript functions and variables, as well as objects and arrays. Wait - and integrating an API ! I guess you could say...it blew me away.

Hobby Project

Were I only a little further along in my coding journey, I'd almost have the smugness to now call this 'cute' (but let's not get too complacent). I lovingly look back on this first-ever, non-hosted coding assignment and fully appreciate it for what it was - my gateway into the incredible world of web-development - and the absolute beginning of a newfound personal fascination. We were introduced to the magic of HTML and CSS and shown just how powerful it can be, even with relatively little basic knowledge.
